If you are jetting off on a summer holiday this year then you need to get organised and packing. One of the biggest problems when it comes to packing is the amount of space you have in your suitcase. As there is limited space when it comes to packing you need to make sure that you are organised and only pack what you need. Otherwise you could find that you have extra charges to pay at the airport or more items to pack than what will actually fit in your suitcase.
What to Take on Holiday?
Don’t forget those important items when jetting off on holiday, things to consider…
Make A List
One of the first things you should so is make a list of the items that you are going to need. That way you can tick off as you go and make sure you have everything you need. This also stops you from packing similar items more than once and taking up more item than they need.
Try to plan outfits and think about what you are going to wear. Taking 6 pairs of shoes for 7 days away is probably too much, for example. Have a think about what you are going to be doing and the type of outfits that you need. That way you have an idea of what to pack and can get to start on your packing list.
Mix and Match
When it does come to outfit planning and thinking about to wear, you need to be a little sensible. Try to take tops and bottoms that you can mix and match and wear together. That way you can get numerous outfits out of the same items , which will save you plenty of space in your suitcase.
Pack for Kids
Of course you are going to want to pack for your kids too. One really good idea is to give them their own children’s suitcase. That way they can pack the items that they want and be in charge of their own luggage – something which that they are bound to be excited with!
